Sencore CR143 with modern adapter
Skeleton page of this project until I can get more information.

A buddy of mine gave this to me a couple years ago. I never even looked it until recently because the place I worked at had a B & K 467 that worked wonders.

This thing is ancient. The manual that comes with it lists something like fifteen pages of black and white tubes, and maybe two and a half of color tubes. Yes, it's that old!

But it'll still do color, so I *think* I can make this work. Knowing I'd likely never use the existing adapter, I had no qualms with using it to build an adapter that I'd use frequently. This socket will be compatible with a B & K socket 23.

Using the socket from an old TV chassis, and documentation from both B & K and Sencore, I've gotten exactly this far. Not knowing as much as I'd like to about TV tubes, I'm a bit confused as how I should wire up the remaining wires.

Work so far:

I want to make sure I don't screw this up. I *think* that I connect the blue/white wire up to pin six and bridge it to pin five (if memory serves those are the pins anyway, I don't have the manual in front of me) but I'm unclear what to do with the yellow wire. I suppose I could hook it ot a tube I don't care about, but I'd like to get this right the first time, and not risk killing the Sencore!
