Panel with stripper applied. It's a slightly gelled substance. You do NOT want to get this stuff on you. It burns. A lot. Not at first, though. At first it's cool, as the evaporation factor makes it cool. But as the chemicals eat your skin, it starts to feel rather...unpleasant.
Here you can see the coating is starting to bubble up. It makes a sound similar to Rice Krispies. It's the sound of the air getting underneath the coating.
The panel now has the coating completely bubbled off.
