Dirty, Ugly, Filty Case
This case had been sitting in storage for several years before I aquired it. It was covered in
grime and parts of it were pretty rusty. As I was so far concentrating on the 'asthetic'
qualities of the case, it was the exterior I concentrated on first.
The steel shell was spray painted a flat black, to match the rest of the stereo components
of my rack system. I was going to have to do some modification to the plastic face. As I
'plan' to have some kind of IR interface eventually (read: when I get around to it) I haven't
painted it - yet. I'm going to use body filler to fill in some of the quirks of the case I
dont like, like the keyhole and that section of lines on the right. My goal is to have this
look as much as possible like a quality stereo component.

Afterwards: nice, flat black.
I'm going to have to start searching the junk piles at the dump for a broken VCR for the IR
sensor ($0 budget, remember?). Of course, how to wire it in will be another problem...
